"This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear."
— Acts 2:32-33

Peter stands before the crowd on Pentecost and proclaims that this Jesus has been raised by God. "We are all witnesses of this event," he declares. Just weeks before, Peter had been hiding in fear. But now, in the very heart of Jerusalem, before the crowd that had cried out for Jesus' death, he boldly testifies to the Resurrection. What changed him? He had seen the risen Jesus. He had eaten with Him. He had walked alongside Him. That experience became a testimony he could no longer keep silent. God exalted Jesus at His right hand—His humiliation transformed into exaltation. The shame of the cross became the glory of God's throne. And this exalted Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit upon His people. The Resurrection is not merely personal comfort; it empowers witness, builds community, and sends us to transform the world. We too are called to be witnesses of this Resurrection. Today, ask yourself: Where and how can I bear witness to the risen Christ?
🙏 Today's Prayer
Risen Lord, I confess that I am a witness to Your resurrection. Grant me Your Holy Spirit, that I may testify to You without fear. Let my life today be a small yet faithful testimony to Your power and grace. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
